Charles Coody is a retired professional golfer from the United States who competed on the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour. He was born on July 13, 1937, in Stamford, Texas.
Coody turned professional in 1963 and went on to win three PGA Tour events during his career, including the prestigious Masters Tournament in 1971. He also had a successful amateur career, earning All-American honors while playing collegiate golf at Texas Christian University.
After retiring from competitive golf, Coody worked as a golf course designer and instructor. He was inducted into the Texas Golf Hall of Fame in 2010.
